In a thrilling Week 8 matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Denver Broncos 31-24, solidifying their position as a contender in the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Colts who emerged victorious, showcasing their resilience in a tightly contested game. Jayden Daniels led the Broncos' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns, while Michael Wilson proved to be a reliable target, racking up 111 receiving yards. However, Jonathan Taylor's powerful running game for the Colts, accumulating 95 rushing yards, helped maintain control of the clock and keep the Broncos' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Colts made critical plays at pivotal moments, highlighted by Craig Woodson's incredible three interceptions that shifted the momentum in the second half. Ed Oliver also contributed significantly with two sacks, applying relentless pressure on Daniels. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Woodson's third pick set up a key touchdown drive, allowing the Colts to build a lead they would not relinquish.
