In a tightly contested matchup, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions 24-19 in Week 11 of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game looking to bolster their playoff aspirations, but it was Seattle that emerged victorious, continuing their push for postseason contention. Leading the charge for Seattle was quarterback Sam Darnold, who threw for 211 yards and showcased solid decision-making throughout the game. Running back Saquon Barkley added to the offensive firepower with a strong ground game, racking up 96 rushing yards, while receiver Cooper Kupp was a standout target, amassing 128 receiving yards and proving to be Darnold's go-to option in key moments. Baker Mayfield of the Lions kept the pressure on with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to clinch the win. Defensively, both teams made significant plays, but it was the Seahawks' ability to generate turnovers that proved crucial. Devin Lloyd's interception late in the game shifted the momentum, halting a Lions drive that could have tied the score. The Lions' Cody Barton led with nine total tackles, but it was Seattle's defense that ultimately made the vital plays when it mattered most, securing the hard-fought victory.
