In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Green Bay Packers 24-16, solidifying their playoff positioning. With both teams vying for postseason momentum, this victory was essential for Arizona as they aim for a deep run in the playoffs. Arizona's Joe Milton showcased his arm strength, throwing for 239 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Cardinals' offensive charge. Meanwhile, Marvin Mims Jr. was a standout target, racking up 104 receiving yards to help fuel the team's success. On the ground, Bucky Irving of the Packers made his mark with 78 rushing yards but was unable to convert that effort into a victory. Defensively, the Cardinals made key plays that turned the tide in their favor, including an interception from Jessie Bates III, which halted a potential scoring drive for Green Bay. The game’s turning point came when Arizona capitalized on that turnover, allowing them to maintain control and ultimately secure the win. Despite a solid effort from T.J. Edwards, who recorded eight tackles for the Packers, the Arizona defense proved to be the decisive factor in this hard-fought contest.
