In a thrilling Week 17 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Minnesota Vikings 24-22, sealing their playoff aspirations with a crucial victory. The stakes were high as both teams battled for postseason positioning, making every play count in this tightly contested matchup. Glenn Hayes led the Vikings through the air, throwing for 203 yards and connecting on one touchdown pass. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley proved to be a force on the ground for the Seahawks, racking up 93 rushing yards and contributing significantly to Seattle's offensive success. Justin Jefferson was the standout receiver for Minnesota, accumulating 85 receiving yards and keeping the Vikings competitive throughout the game. On the defensive side, the game was marked by a strong performance from Devin Bush, who recorded eight tackles, helping to hold the Seahawks in check at critical moments. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense tightened, forcing Minnesota into a desperate situation that ultimately fell short. With Zack Baun also contributing with 1.5 sacks, the Vikings' defensive efforts were commendable but not enough to secure the victory.
