In a tightly contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers 14-10 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Colts who ultimately came out on top in this hard-fought battle. Carolina's Bryce Young showcased his skills, throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown, but it was Indianapolis' Jonathan Taylor who stole the show on the ground, racking up 119 rushing yards. Tyler Warren contributed significantly in the air for the Colts, finishing with 81 receiving yards, helping to keep the chains moving at critical moments. Defensively, the game turned on a pivotal interception from Charvarius Ward Sr. of the Colts, which swung momentum in favor of Indianapolis. Although Devin Lloyd led the Panthers with 15 total tackles and Lee Hunter recorded a sack, they were unable to fully capitalize on their defensive efforts. The Colts' ability to make key plays when it mattered most ultimately secured their victory at home.
