In a decisive Week 12 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots 27-16, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. The Jaguars showcased their ability to control the game, while the Patriots struggled to find their rhythm, ultimately falling short on home turf. Drake Maye led the charge for New England with a solid performance, throwing for 252 yards and one touchdown, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Jacksonville's balanced attack. The Jaguars relied on Bhayshul Tuten's ground game, as he racked up 71 rushing yards, while the receiving corps was anchored by a strong performance from the Jaguars' offense. On the defensive front, Jacksonville made a significant impact with Travis Hunter's two interceptions serving as a critical turning point in the game. Additionally, Josh Hines-Allen contributed with 1.5 sacks, applying constant pressure on Maye. The Jaguars' defense effectively stifled the Patriots' attempts to mount a comeback, ensuring their victory was secure.
