The Seattle Seahawks secured a convincing 38-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 17 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff positioning. With both teams fighting for crucial postseason momentum, the Seahawks emerged as the dominant force, showcasing their offensive prowess throughout the game. Sam Darnold led the charge for Seattle, throwing for an impressive four touchdowns, while Zach Charbonnet contributed significantly on the ground with 83 rushing yards. On the other side, Bryce Young put up a respectable performance for the Panthers, amassing 275 passing yards and keeping the game competitive, but ultimately fell short in the face of Seattle's scoring barrage. Defensively, the Panthers struggled to contain the Seahawks, who capitalized on key opportunities. The turning point came early in the second half when Seattle's offense executed a seamless drive culminating in Darnold's third touchdown pass, extending their lead and putting pressure on Carolina to respond. Despite a solid effort from Mike Jackson, who recorded seven tackles, the Panthers could not muster enough defensive stops to turn the tide.
