In a tense Week 9 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens held off the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 24-17. This crucial victory keeps the Ravens firmly in contention for the playoffs, while the Jaguars face an uphill battle as the season progresses. Both teams showcased their talents, but Baltimore ultimately emerged victorious. Lamar Jackson spearheaded the Ravens' offense, throwing for two touchdowns and contributing significantly to a balanced attack. Derrick Henry dominated on the ground, racking up 116 rushing yards and providing the Ravens with a powerful presence in the backfield. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars with 175 passing yards but struggled to find the end zone, leaving his team just short of a comeback. Defensively, the Ravens were bolstered by Trey Hendrickson's critical sack, which helped halt a promising Jaguars drive. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Ravens' defense stymied a potential game-tying possession, allowing Baltimore to secure the win. Antonio Johnson's seven tackles were impressive, but it was the Ravens' ability to make key stops that ultimately determined the outcome of this closely contested game.
