In a critical Week 15 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs held off the New England Patriots with a final score of 17-11, solidifying their playoff position as the season winds down. Both teams came into this game with playoff implications, but it was the Chiefs who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Patrick Mahomes showcased his leadership and precision, throwing for 235 yards, while Drake Maye managed to throw one touchdown for the Patriots but struggled to keep pace with Kansas City's offense. On the ground, Kenneth Walker contributed 58 rushing yards, and Xavier Worthy stood out with 89 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Mahomes. Defensively, the Chiefs stepped up with key performances that helped secure the win. L'Jarius Sneed led the team with six tackles, while Chris Jones added pressure with a sack that was pivotal in stalling New England's drives. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Kansas City’s defense forced a crucial turnover, giving the Chiefs the momentum they needed to seal the game.
