In a closely contested Week 7 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the New York Giants with a final score of 21-16, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams came into the game looking to improve their standings, but it was the Texans who ultimately emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle. C.J. Stroud led the Texans’ offense with a strong performance, throwing for 238 yards and one touchdown, showcasing his ability to make key plays when it mattered most. His go-to target, Nico Collins, had an impressive outing, racking up 94 receiving yards, while the Giants' Cam Skattebo led the ground game with 85 rushing yards but couldn't find the end zone. Defensively, the Texans set the tone for the game, with Jadeveon Clowney dominating the pass rush, recording 2.5 sacks. Calen Bullock anchored the defense with seven total tackles, ensuring that the Giants struggled to find offensive rhythm. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Clowney's pressure forced a critical turnover, allowing Houston to capitalize and secure their victory.
