In a hard-fought battle in Week 9 of the 2026 season, the Buffalo Bills topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 20-12. Both teams were seeking a crucial victory to bolster their playoff aspirations, but it was the Bills who emerged victorious on the road. Josh Allen led the charge for Buffalo, throwing for 162 yards and keeping the offense moving. Meanwhile, James Cook III showcased his prowess on the ground with 82 rushing yards, consistently finding ways to exploit the Vikings' defense. Justin Jefferson was the standout for Minnesota, racking up 64 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome. Defensively, the Bills were relentless, with Terrel Bernard leading the team with 9 total tackles and Greg Rousseau contributing 1.5 sacks, creating pressure that stifled Minnesota’s offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Rousseau's sack led to a critical turnover on downs, sealing the victory for Buffalo and ensuring they would walk away with a hard-earned win.
