In a high-octane showdown, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Carolina Panthers 52-34 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory keeps the Buccaneers firmly in the playoff picture, while the Panthers struggle to find consistency as the season progresses. Baker Mayfield was the star of the night, throwing for a staggering 405 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field effectively. He connected with multiple receivers, but it was Tetairoa McMillan of the Panthers who stood out with a remarkable 179 receiving yards, keeping his team competitive despite the loss. Defensively, the Buccaneers made critical plays that turned the tide. Benjamin Morrison's three interceptions were pivotal, effectively halting any momentum the Panthers attempted to build. Additionally, Yaya Diaby’s two sacks kept pressure on Carolina’s offense, contributing to a decisive victory for Tampa Bay.
