In a hard-fought matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Minnesota Vikings 24-14 in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Colts' victory was crucial, allowing them to maintain momentum as the season approaches the halfway mark. Indianapolis quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the way with a solid performance, throwing for 219 yards and facilitating the offense effectively. D'Andre Swift contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 60 rushing yards, while Amon-Ra St. Brown shined in the receiving game, amassing 103 yards and serving as a key target for Richardson. The Colts’ balanced attack proved too much for the Vikings to handle. On the defensive side, the Colts' Arden Key made a notable impact with a sack, while Cole Bishop for the Vikings recorded an interception to keep things competitive. However, the game's turning point came in the second half when the Colts' defense tightened, limiting the Vikings’ offensive opportunities and allowing Indianapolis to control the clock and secure the win. Despite Eric Wilson's five tackles for Minnesota, the Colts' defensive adjustments were pivotal in keeping the Vikings' scoring to a minimum.
