In a tightly contested matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs held off the Los Angeles Chargers, securing a 25-21 victory in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, both teams battled fiercely, but it was the Chiefs who emerged victorious in front of their home crowd. Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs' offense, throwing for a touchdown while Kenneth Walker dominated on the ground with an impressive 114 rushing yards. Justin Herbert, despite the loss, showcased his arm talent with 280 passing yards and a standout performance from Jeff Caldwell, who racked up 91 receiving yards, keeping the Chargers competitive throughout the game. Defensively, the Chiefs made crucial plays that tilted the game in their favor. L'Jarius Sneed's interception proved to be a game-changer, halting a potential Chargers scoring drive. Kansas City’s Kristian Fulton anchored the defense with eight total tackles, helping to stifle the Chargers' offense just enough to secure the win in a classic AFC showdown.
