In a crucial Week 5 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens secured a decisive 34-21 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Ravens' offense showcased a potent attack, while the Falcons fought hard but ultimately fell short on their home turf. Trey Lance of the Falcons had a standout performance, throwing for 280 yards and two touchdowns, keeping Atlanta competitive throughout the game. Bijan Robinson complemented the aerial assault with a strong ground game, racking up 118 yards rushing, while Trey Palmer emerged as a reliable target with 117 receiving yards. Despite the individual brilliance, the Falcons couldn't keep pace with the Ravens' powerful offensive display. Defensively, Chandler Rivers led the charge for Baltimore with seven total tackles and an interception, making key plays that shifted momentum in favor of the Ravens. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Rivers' interception halted a promising Falcons drive, allowing Baltimore to capitalize and extend their lead. While the Falcons' Leonard Williams recorded two sacks, it wasn't enough to overcome the Ravens' relentless offense and solid defensive execution.
