The Philadelphia Eagles secured a decisive 22-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Eagles continue to assert their dominance in the league, showcasing their playoff ambitions against a struggling Jaguars squad. Jalen Hurts led the charge for Philadelphia, throwing for 162 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to make critical plays when needed. Tank Bigsby contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 86 rushing yards to keep the Jaguars' defense on its heels. The Eagles' balanced offensive attack proved too much for Jacksonville to handle throughout the game. Defensively, the Eagles made their mark with a strong performance, highlighted by Jordan Davis, who recorded a sack, disrupting the Jaguars' rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when the Eagles defense forced a crucial turnover, leading to a quick touchdown that ultimately shifted the momentum firmly in Philadelphia's favor. While Jacksonville's Dennis Gardeck led all defenders with nine tackles, it wasn't enough to rally his team back into contention.
