In an electrifying Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the New England Patriots with a final score of 28-26. Both teams were looking to solidify their standings early in the season, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious in a tightly contested game. Joe Milton led the Patriots' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 241 yards and three touchdowns. His connection with Hunter Henry, who racked up 87 receiving yards, was crucial in keeping New England competitive. On the other side, Bhayshul Tuten was a standout for Jacksonville, rushing for 129 yards, which played a significant role in their ground game strategy. Defensively, the Jaguars made pivotal plays, including an interception from Jourdan Lewis that shifted momentum in their favor. While Harrison Smith recorded four total tackles for New England, it was Jacksonville's defense that ultimately made the timely stops necessary to secure the win. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Jaguars' defense held strong, preventing the Patriots from closing the gap and sealing the victory.
