In a commanding performance, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Chicago Bears 36-21 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The victory not only showcases the Vikings' offensive prowess but also places them firmly in contention early in the season as they look to establish their dominance in the NFC North. Kyler Murray was the standout on offense, throwing for 267 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Vikings to a decisive win. Justin Jefferson shined in the receiving game, racking up 93 yards, while Chicago's Caleb Williams contributed on the ground with 77 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Minnesota's high-octane attack. Defensively, the Vikings were relentless, with Denzel Ward making a significant impact by snagging two interceptions, which played a crucial role in shifting momentum. Alontae Taylor also made his presence known with seven total tackles, while Levi Drake Rodriguez added to the pressure with a sack. The game’s turning point came when Ward's second interception set up a touchdown that extended Minnesota's lead, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Bears.
