The Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 28-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. With this win, the Ravens set the tone for what they hope will be a successful campaign, while the Colts look to regroup after a disappointing start. Lamar Jackson led the charge for the Ravens, throwing for two touchdowns and effectively managing the game. Derrick Henry contributed on the ground with 55 rushing yards, providing a solid running game to complement Jackson's aerial attack. Despite the Colts' efforts, Anthony Richardson Sr. managed only 145 passing yards, unable to find a rhythm against a stout Ravens defense. Defensively, the Ravens made critical plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Chidobe Awuzie registered a sack, putting pressure on Richardson, while Kyle Hamilton's interception was a pivotal moment that thwarted a potential scoring drive for the Colts. The Ravens' ability to limit Indianapolis' offensive production and capitalize on key turnovers ultimately paved the way for their decisive victory.
