The New England Patriots cruised to a decisive 35-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With this win, the Patriots continue to showcase their dominance as they push toward the postseason, while the Chiefs face questions about their consistency as the end of the regular season approaches. Drake Maye was the star of the show for New England, throwing for an impressive 323 yards and four touchdowns, displaying exceptional poise and accuracy throughout the game. A.J. Brown was his top target, racking up 166 receiving yards and proving to be a constant threat in the passing game. The Patriots' offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Maye to orchestrate drives that kept the Chiefs' defense on their heels. Defensively, the Patriots were anchored by Darius Muasau, who led the team with nine total tackles, contributing to a solid effort that limited the Chiefs' scoring opportunities. A pivotal moment came in the second quarter when the Patriots' defense forced a turnover, leading to a crucial touchdown that shifted the momentum firmly in their favor. Although DeMarcus Lawrence of the Chiefs recorded 1.5 sacks, it wasn't enough to halt New England's offensive onslaught, as they continued to capitalize on their chances and seize control of the game.
