In a dominant performance, the Houston Texans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 27-3 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies Houston's position in the playoff race, while the Jaguars struggle to find momentum as the season winds down. C.J. Stroud led the Texans’ offense efficiently, throwing for a touchdown and managing the game well, while Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars put up solid numbers with 208 passing yards, but struggled to connect in the red zone. Mike Washington Jr. was pivotal in the ground game, rushing for 74 yards, while Jaylin Noel matched that with 74 receiving yards, showcasing Houston's balanced attack. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Derek Stingley Jr. snagging an interception that shifted the momentum firmly in Houston's favor. The Jaguars' defense, led by Antonio Johnson's seven tackles and Josh Hines-Allen's two sacks, fought hard but ultimately couldn't contain the Texans’ offensive efficiency. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Stingley's interception set up a touchdown, allowing Houston to extend their lead and control the game from that point on.
