In a decisive matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Washington Commanders with a commanding final score of 35-13. This Week 15 clash was critical for both teams, as playoff positioning hangs in the balance late in the season. The Falcons emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength. Leading the charge for Atlanta was quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to make big plays when it mattered most. He was well-supported by Brian Robinson Jr., who added a solid 60 rushing yards, and Zachariah Branch, who contributed 63 receiving yards. This offensive trio proved to be too much for the Commanders to handle throughout the game. Defensively, the Falcons were relentless, with Divine Deablo racking up eight total tackles to anchor the unit. Gervon Dexter Sr. made his mark with two sacks, applying pressure on the Commanders' quarterback and disrupting their rhythm. The game’s turning point came when Marshon Lattimore intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing Atlanta to extend their lead, ultimately sealing the victory.
