In a closely contested battle, the New Orleans Saints held off the Green Bay Packers with a final score of 23-17 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious at home, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a key touchdown pass, while Jordyn Tyson was the standout receiver, racking up 111 yards to keep the chains moving. Although Alvin Kamara struggled to find his footing with only 55 rushing yards, his contributions were crucial in maintaining control of the clock and the game. Defensively, the Packers' Micah Parsons was a force to be reckoned with, recording 3.5 sacks and consistently pressuring Shough. However, the Saints' defense stepped up when it mattered most, limiting the Packers' scoring opportunities. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Saints' defense held the Packers to a crucial three-and-out, allowing New Orleans to maintain their lead and secure the win.
