The Atlanta Falcons topped the Minnesota Vikings with a commanding 49-21 victory in Week 12 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With this win, Atlanta continues to assert itself as a formidable contender in the league, while Minnesota struggles to find consistency as the season winds down. Leading the offensive charge for the Falcons was Bijan Robinson, who racked up 93 rushing yards and found the end zone, while Drake London contributed with 76 receiving yards, providing Kyler Murray with reliable targets. Despite the loss, Murray showcased his talent for Minnesota, throwing for 239 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Falcons' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Falcons made critical plays that shifted the momentum, highlighted by Jalon Walker's eight total tackles and A.J. Terrell Jr.'s pivotal interception. The game-changing moment came in the second quarter when Terrell Jr. picked off a pass, leading to a quick touchdown that pushed the Falcons ahead and set the tone for the rest of the match. With Dallas Turner recording two sacks for the Vikings, it was clear that Atlanta’s offense was prepared to counteract the pressure, ultimately leading to their decisive win.
