In a hard-fought battle in Week 7 of the 2026 season, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 19-14. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the stakes were high, and Seattle managed to hold off a late-game surge from Kansas City to secure the victory. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite skills, throwing for 208 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Seahawks. Jadarian Price led the ground game for Seattle with 51 rushing yards, while Xavier Worthy stood out for the Chiefs with 89 receiving yards, providing Mahomes with a reliable target throughout the game. Defensively, the Chiefs struggled to contain the Seahawks' offense, and while they recorded a solid performance, it was Julian Love's two tackles that highlighted their effort. The game shifted in the fourth quarter when the Seahawks' defense tightened up, allowing them to maintain their slim lead and ultimately seal the win. Kansas City's inability to capitalize on critical opportunities proved costly, as they couldn't find the end zone in the final moments.
