In a thrilling Week 6 showdown, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 42-35, in a game that had major playoff implications. Both teams fought hard, but it was the Texans who ultimately secured the victory, improving their standing in the competitive AFC South. Trevor Lawrence put on a dazzling display for the Jaguars, throwing for an impressive 412 yards and five touchdowns. However, it was Mike Washington Jr. of the Texans who stole the show, amassing 226 rushing yards and 219 receiving yards, making him a dual-threat nightmare for the Jaguars' defense. His exceptional performance was pivotal in keeping the Texans' offense on the attack throughout the game. Defensively, the Texans made crucial plays when it mattered most, led by Ja'Marcus Ingram, who recorded two interceptions that shifted the momentum in favor of Houston. With the game hanging in the balance, Ingram's second pick set up a touchdown that proved to be the decisive score. While the Jaguars' Caleb Ransaw and Travon Walker had solid outings, Houston's ability to capitalize on turnovers ultimately determined the outcome of this high-scoring clash.
