The Indianapolis Colts dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers with a decisive 44-14 victory in Week 5 of the 2026 season. This win solidifies the Colts' position in the playoff race while leaving the Steelers searching for answers after a disappointing performance at home. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. was the star of the night, throwing for four touchdown passes and leading the Colts' offense with precision. Jonathan Taylor also made a significant impact on the ground, racking up 108 rushing yards to complement Richardson's aerial attack. Meanwhile, the Steelers saw Justin Fields throw for 248 yards and connect with Pat Freiermuth for 115 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Colts' explosive offense. Defensively, the Colts were able to disrupt the Steelers' rhythm, with DeForest Buckner recording a sack and A.J. Haulcy clinching an interception that shifted momentum in favor of Indianapolis. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Colts scored back-to-back touchdowns, extending their lead to an insurmountable margin. The Steelers' defense struggled to contain the Colts' offensive onslaught, ultimately leading to a lopsided result.
