In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 28-24, solidifying their position in the competitive AFC landscape. This victory not only boosts the Raiders' confidence but also puts them in the driver's seat in the division race as the season heats up. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite talent, throwing for 263 yards and three touchdowns for the Chiefs, but it was Ashton Jeanty's explosive performance that truly stood out. Jeanty rushed for an impressive 159 yards, while Mecole Hardman emerged as a key target, racking up 157 receiving yards. Their contributions kept the Raiders' offense dynamic and effective throughout the game. Defensively, the Raiders were able to contain the Chiefs in critical moments, with Hezekiah Masses leading the charge with three total tackles. The game shifted in the fourth quarter when the Raiders' defense tightened, preventing Mahomes from mounting a comeback drive. Although Drue Tranquill registered a sack for Kansas City, it was the Raiders' ability to disrupt the rhythm of the Chiefs' offense that ultimately secured their victory.
