In a decisive Wildcard Round matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Green Bay Packers 31-17, advancing in the 2026 postseason. With both teams vying for a shot at the championship, the Buccaneers demonstrated their offensive prowess and defensive resilience to secure the victory. Baker Mayfield led the charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 144 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense throughout the game. Bucky Irving provided a strong ground game, racking up 108 rushing yards to help control the tempo, while Chris Godwin Jr. contributed with 50 receiving yards, making key catches to keep drives alive. Defensively, the Buccaneers made pivotal plays that shifted momentum, particularly with Alex Anzalone's two interceptions, which thwarted the Packers' attempts to rally. Although Micah Parsons tallied two sacks for Green Bay, it was the Buccaneers' ability to capitalize on turnovers that ultimately sealed the game. The turning point came when Anzalone's second interception led to a touchdown, extending Tampa Bay's lead and putting the game out of reach for Green Bay.
