In a thrilling Week 15 showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs outlasted the New England Patriots, securing a 52-42 victory that keeps their playoff hopes alive. Both teams entered the contest with high stakes, but it was Kansas City that emerged victorious in a game marked by explosive offensive plays. Patrick Mahomes was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 460 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing ability. He was well-supported by Kenneth Walker, who dominated on the ground with 163 rushing yards, and Xavier Worthy, who racked up 166 receiving yards, making for a formidable trio that kept the Patriots' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Patriots struggled to contain the Chiefs' offensive onslaught, with Kevin Byard III leading the way with seven tackles. The game's turning point came in the second quarter, when Mahomes connected with Worthy for a 75-yard touchdown that shifted momentum firmly in Kansas City's favor. Despite a valiant effort from the Patriots, including a key interception from Craig Woodson, they couldn't stop the Chiefs' relentless attack.
