The New York Giants narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 19-12 in a hard-fought battle in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Giants secured a crucial win that keeps their postseason hopes alive while putting pressure on the Texans. Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns. His connection with Malik Nabers was particularly effective, as Nabers racked up 129 receiving yards, making critical catches to keep drives alive. Cam Skattebo also made a significant impact on the ground, rushing for 109 yards and providing the Giants with a balanced offensive attack. Defensively, the Giants were key to their victory, with Abdul Carter making his presence felt by recording 1.5 sacks. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Giants' defense stifled a Texans drive, preventing any hope of a game-tying touchdown.
