In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 37 to 22, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Colts capitalized on their offensive prowess, showcasing a balanced attack that left the Vikings struggling to keep pace. Daniel Jones led the charge for Indianapolis, throwing for an impressive 306 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating command in the pocket. Alec Pierce was his top target, racking up 107 receiving yards, while Jonathan Taylor provided a steady ground game with 51 rushing yards, allowing the Colts to maintain offensive momentum throughout the contest. On the defensive side, Laiatu Latu stood out with three sacks, consistently pressuring the Vikings’ quarterback and disrupting their rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Latu's relentless pursuit led to a crucial turnover, allowing the Colts to extend their lead and ultimately control the game. Despite Isaiah Rodgers Sr's 11 tackles for Minnesota, the Vikings couldn't recover from the Colts' early defensive dominance.
