In a tightly contested matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers narrowly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-20 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Buccaneers who emerged victorious in a game that showcased their offensive firepower. Baker Mayfield was the standout performer for Tampa Bay, throwing for 315 yards and two touchdowns to lead his team to victory. He connected particularly well with Ted Hurst III, who racked up an impressive 148 receiving yards, making critical plays that kept the Buccaneers ahead. Despite a solid effort from the Steelers' Jaylen Warren on the ground, their offense struggled to keep pace with Mayfield's precision. Defensively, the Buccaneers made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Elijah Roberts contributed with a crucial sack, while Benjamin Morrison's interception proved pivotal, halting a potential scoring drive for the Steelers. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when Morrison's pick allowed Tampa Bay to maintain control and ultimately seal the win.
