In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the New England Patriots topped the New York Jets with a final score of 24-7, solidifying their position in the AFC East. With playoff implications on the line, the Patriots showcased a strong all-around performance, while the Jets struggled to find their rhythm offensively. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for 175 yards and one touchdown, while TreVeyon Henderson added a significant ground presence with 96 rushing yards. The Patriots' offense executed efficiently, but it was the contributions from their defense that kept the Jets at bay. Garrett Wilson was the lone bright spot for New York, racking up 58 receiving yards but unable to find the end zone. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Craig Woodson making a pivotal interception that shifted momentum in their favor. Rashan Gary of the Jets recorded 1.5 sacks, but the lack of consistent pressure allowed Maye to operate effectively. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when Woodson's pick set up a touchdown drive, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Jets.
