In a thrilling season opener for 2026, the Arizona Cardinals topped the Los Angeles Chargers with a final score of 32-22. Both teams entered the game eager to establish momentum for the season, but it was the Cardinals who emerged victorious behind a dominant performance on both sides of the ball. Carson Beck led the Cardinals’ aerial attack, throwing for 207 yards, while Jeremiyah Love was the standout performer, racking up an impressive 209 rushing yards and adding 72 receiving yards to his tally. Love's versatility kept the Chargers' defense on their heels, making him a game-changing presence throughout the contest. On the defensive side, the Chargers struggled to contain the Cardinals' potent offense, although Cam Hart made his mark with three total tackles and an interception. The game’s turning point came when Love broke through for a long touchdown run that shifted the momentum firmly in Arizona's favor, allowing them to pull away in the second half and secure the win.
