The Minnesota Vikings topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a decisive 37-17 victory in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Vikings continue to establish themselves as a formidable force in the league, while the Buccaneers struggle to find consistency in their performance. Randall Cunningham delivered a standout performance for Minnesota, throwing for 271 yards and three touchdowns. Demond Claiborne complemented the passing game with a powerful ground attack, racking up 127 rushing yards. The Vikings’ offensive prowess was on full display, effectively controlling the tempo and keeping the Buccaneers' defense on its heels. Defensively, the Vikings made crucial plays that tilted the game in their favor, highlighted by James Pierre's interception that halted a potential Tampa Bay scoring drive. Vita Vea's impressive effort for the Buccaneers, including 2.5 sacks and four total tackles, showcased his ability to disrupt Minnesota's offensive flow. However, it was the Vikings' defense that applied consistent pressure, ultimately sealing their comfortable victory.
