In a high-scoring affair, the Green Bay Packers topped the New York Jets 35-23 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. The game was crucial for both teams as they aimed to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Packers who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess. Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw for an impressive 412 yards, leading the charge with precision and poise. Christian Watson was a standout receiver, racking up 311 yards and proving to be a dominant force on the field. Despite the Jets' Cade Klubnik also having a strong game with two touchdown passes, it was the Packers' explosive offense that ultimately made the difference. Defensively, the game turned in the Packers' favor when Benjamin St-Juste snagged an interception, halting a potential scoring drive from the Jets. The Jets' defense did its best to pressure Love, with David Bailey recording two sacks, but it wasn't enough to contain the relentless Green Bay attack. Ultimately, the combination of the Packers' offensive firepower and timely defensive plays sealed the victory.
