In an exciting opener for the 2026 season, the Indianapolis Colts held off the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 28-20. Both teams came into this matchup looking to establish their dominance early in the season, but it was the Colts who emerged victorious in front of their home crowd. Colts quarterback Daniel Jones led the way with 182 passing yards, while his top target, Alec Pierce, torched the Ravens' secondary for 155 receiving yards. Lamar Jackson was impressive in his own right, throwing for three touchdowns, but the Ravens' offense could not keep pace with Derrick Henry's powerful running, who logged 163 rushing yards to keep the game competitive. Defensively, the Colts made key stops, particularly from Laiatu Latu, who registered two sacks to pressure Jackson throughout the game. Indianapolis's defense ultimately turned the tide midway through the second half, stifling a potential Ravens drive that could have shifted momentum. With Camryn Bynum contributing three tackles and the Colts maintaining their composure, they secured a crucial win to start the season on a high note.
