In a high-scoring showdown, the Dallas Cowboys triumphed over the Virginia Beach Tidewatershark, finishing with a commanding 60-39 victory. The Week 10 clash showcased both teams' offensive firepower, but the Cowboys proved too strong, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season approaches its climax. Jaxson Dart led the charge for the Cowboys, throwing three touchdown passes while demonstrating efficiency that kept the Tidewatershark defense on their heels. Trey Benson was a standout on the ground, racking up an impressive 145 rushing yards, while Tetairoa McMillan was a force in the air, accumulating 161 receiving yards. Brock Purdy of the Tidewatershark put up a valiant effort with 322 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to match the Cowboys' relentless offense. Defensively, the Cowboys made pivotal plays that shifted the momentum, highlighted by Jalen Pitre's two interceptions that halted Virginia Beach’s scoring drives. Cam Taylor-Britt led the team with five total tackles, contributing to a cohesive defensive effort that kept the Tidewatershark from mounting a serious comeback. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Pitre's second interception set up another quick touchdown, allowing Dallas to pull away and maintain control throughout the game.
