In a surprising showdown, the DC DC Talons narrowly defeated the Buffalo Bills with a final score of 2-0, showcasing a gritty defensive battle in Week 9 of the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams vied for playoff positioning, but the Talons emerged victorious in a game where scoring was at a premium. C.J. Stroud led the Talons with an impressive performance, throwing for two touchdowns while keeping the Bills' defense on their toes. Jalen Hurts put up solid numbers for Buffalo, racking up 147 passing yards, but it was Christian McCaffrey's 95 rushing yards that highlighted the Bills’ offensive efforts, even as they struggled to find the end zone. Defensively, the Talons were a force to be reckoned with, led by Kenny Clark who tallied three total tackles. Tyson Campbell's interception proved pivotal, halting a potential scoring drive and maintaining the slim lead for DC. The turning point came late in the game when Campbell's pick not only shifted momentum but also sealed the Bills' fate in this tightly contested matchup.
