The Indianapolis Colts topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 19-7 in a crucial Week 5 matchup of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, the Colts delivered a strong performance to secure their position in the standings, while the Steelers struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. Quarterback Daniel Jones led the Colts' offensive charge, throwing for 211 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with receivers under pressure. Rome Odunze was his top target, racking up 83 receiving yards, while the Colts relied on a balanced attack to maintain control of the game. Although the Steelers' Kyren Williams put together an impressive 113 rushing yards, it wasn't enough to overcome the Colts' offensive efficiency. Defensively, the Colts made key plays that shifted the momentum, with Zyon McCollum snagging an interception that halted a potential scoring drive for Pittsburgh. The Colts’ defense stifled the Steelers’ attempts to mount a comeback, with standout performances from players like Roquan Smith, who recorded nine tackles for the Steelers. Aidan Hutchinson's lone sack was not enough to disrupt Jones consistently, allowing the Colts to secure their victory as they held off the Steelers in the second half.
