In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Washington Commanders narrowly defeated the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 35 to 31. This victory not only boosts Washington's confidence but also sets the tone for the rest of the season as both teams vie for playoff positioning. Jaxson Dart led the charge for Dallas, throwing for 151 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find the end zone under pressure. However, it was Quinshon Judkins who stole the show with an impressive performance, racking up 187 rushing yards and 116 receiving yards, proving to be a dual-threat that the Commanders struggled to contain. On the defensive side, Danielle Hunter's interception was a pivotal moment that shifted momentum in favor of Washington. While the Cowboys' Cole Bishop and Kyle Hamilton contributed with tackles and a sack, respectively, it was Hunter's timely play that proved crucial in securing the win. The Commanders capitalized on that turnover, sealing their victory and leaving the Cowboys searching for answers as they head into the next week.
