In a thrilling Divisional Round matchup, the Seattle Phantom narrowly defeated Virginia Beach The Ministry with a final score of 35-30, securing their spot in the next round of the playoffs. The stakes were high as both teams sought to advance further in the 2026 season, but it was Seattle that ultimately came out on top. Tyler Shough led the charge for the Phantom, amassing an impressive 292 passing yards and throwing four touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to deliver in crucial moments. Jeremiyah Love complemented the aerial attack with a robust ground game, racking up 109 rushing yards and proving vital in maintaining possession and keeping the chains moving. Joshua Palmer stood out for The Ministry, accumulating 98 receiving yards, but his efforts fell just short of turning the tide. Defensively, Malaki Starks made his presence felt for Virginia Beach with five total tackles, but Seattle's ability to disrupt the rhythm of The Ministry's offense was key. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Shough connected for his fourth touchdown pass, giving Seattle the lead they needed to hold off a late surge from Virginia Beach. Despite a valiant effort, The Ministry could not find the end zone again, sealing Seattle's victory.
