In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens topped the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding final score of 28-7. With both teams vying for playoff positioning in the 2027 season, the Ravens showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, securing a crucial victory at home. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for 214 yards and two touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the offense. His connection with tight end Mark Andrews proved pivotal, as Andrews delivered a stellar performance with 93 receiving yards. Meanwhile, the 49ers struggled offensively, with Christian McCaffrey managing only 17 rushing yards against a tough Ravens defense. Defensively, the Ravens were relentless, led by D.J. Reader, who recorded 3.5 sacks and three total tackles, disrupting the 49ers' rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Reader's pressure on the quarterback led to an interception by Nate Wiggins, swinging momentum firmly in Baltimore's favor. With a dominant defensive effort, the Ravens not only stifled the 49ers' offense but also established themselves as a formidable force in the league.
