In a commanding performance, the Carolina Panthers defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-10 in Week 11 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Panthers solidified their position in the standings while the Jaguars struggled to maintain their momentum. Bryce Young led the charge for Carolina, throwing for three touchdowns and showcasing his ability to find open receivers, notably connecting with Darren Waller for 68 receiving yards. Trevor Lawrence, despite being the top passer with 155 yards, couldn't find the end zone, leaving the Jaguars' offense sputtering throughout the game. Bhayshul Tuten managed only 40 rushing yards, further complicating Jacksonville's attempts to establish a balanced attack. Defensively, the Panthers were relentless, with Quan Martin leading the way with four total tackles, while Jaelan Phillips contributed with a key sack that disrupted Jacksonville's rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Carolina's defense forced a pivotal turnover, allowing Young to capitalize with a touchdown pass that shifted the momentum decisively in the Panthers' favor. The Jaguars simply could not recover from that blow, leading to a decisive victory for Carolina.
