In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-13 in Week 16 of the 2027 season, solidifying their playoff position. With both teams vying for a crucial win, the Chiefs showcased their dominance at home, leaving the Steelers with a steep hill to climb as the regular season winds down. Patrick Mahomes was the star of the show, throwing for 257 yards and three touchdowns, connecting consistently with his receivers throughout the game. Rashee Rice emerged as his top target, racking up an impressive 136 receiving yards, while Kenneth Walker added to the offensive output with 61 rushing yards, providing a balanced attack that overwhelmed the Steelers' defense. Defensively, the Chiefs were equally impressive, with Jonathon Cooper leading the charge with 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on the Steelers' quarterback all night long. Nohl Williams contributed with a crucial interception, further stifling any hopes of a Pittsburgh comeback.
