The Indianapolis Colts wrapped up the 2027 season with a decisive 29-7 victory over the Houston Texans, solidifying their playoff positioning. With this win, the Colts showcased their offensive prowess and sent a message to their rivals heading into the postseason. Leading the charge for Indianapolis was quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr., who threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his playmaking ability. Running back Jonathan Taylor added a powerful performance on the ground, racking up 131 rushing yards, while Deion Burks proved to be a reliable target with 102 receiving yards, contributing significantly to the Colts’ offensive success. Defensively, the Colts were able to stifle the Texans' attack effectively, limiting their scoring opportunities. The Texans' standout, Kamari Lassiter, recorded eight tackles and intercepted a pass, but it wasn't enough to shift the momentum. The turning point came when the Colts scored back-to-back touchdowns in the second quarter, effectively putting the game out of reach for Houston and showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball.
