In a crucial Week 16 showdown, the New Orleans Saints secured a 27-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, keeping their playoff hopes alive. With the stakes high, both teams fought fiercely, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious on their home turf. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 223 yards and helping to orchestrate a balanced attack. Travis Etienne Jr. added to the offensive fireworks with 79 rushing yards, while Jordyn Tyson proved to be a reliable target, racking up 78 receiving yards. Joe Milton of the Cardinals managed to throw for one touchdown, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with New Orleans. Defensively, the Saints made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Jonas Sanker was a standout performer, snagging two interceptions that stifled Arizona's offensive efforts at critical moments. Chase Young also contributed with a sack, putting pressure on Milton and disrupting the Cardinals' rhythm, ultimately sealing the win for New Orleans.
