The New Orleans Saints topped the Dallas Cowboys with a final score of 28-17 in a crucial Week 7 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Saints’ victory solidified their standing in the competitive NFC. Leading the charge for New Orleans was quarterback Tyler Shough, who threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his dynamic playmaking ability. His top target, Bryce Lance, was instrumental in the win, racking up 133 receiving yards and consistently finding ways to exploit the Cowboys' secondary. Meanwhile, Dallas's Travis Etienne Jr. led all rushers with 81 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the potent Saints offense. Defensively, the Saints were bolstered by Lorenzo Styles Jr., who recorded four total tackles and helped stifle Dallas's offensive rhythm. The game’s turning point came when Kaden Elliss intercepted a crucial pass, shifting momentum firmly in favor of New Orleans. With Jalen Thompson’s lone sack for Dallas providing some pressure, the Saints’ defense ultimately made the critical stops needed to secure the victory.
