In a decisive matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 21-6, improving their season record. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish momentum early in the 2026 season, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious in this Week 3 contest. Tyler Shough led the Saints' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 114 yards and two touchdowns. While the passing game was efficient, it was the Saints’ ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities that set them apart. Barion Brown contributed with crucial receptions, adding depth to the team's aerial attack. Defensively, the Saints were relentless, highlighted by Chase Young's two sacks and a key interception from Carl Granderson. Justin Reid anchored the defense with four total tackles, ensuring the Raiders struggled to find their rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Shough connected on a touchdown pass, swinging momentum firmly in favor of New Orleans as they built a lead that the Raiders could not overcome.
